SFO to JFK, JFK to Delhi, Delhi to Kolkata (Calcutta)... in one long "day" which actually took more than 24 hours. Our hotel, the brand new Park, is a ritzy contrast to what one sees on the street outside.

Today's city tour included a visit to the holy Ganges and then to Mother House where Mother Teresa lived, worked, and is buried. It's off a busy and dirty street, down a narrow alley, and in a small courtyard. One if the sisters there gave me this card. "We have been created for greater things, to love and be loved." The birth centenary of Mother Teresa is next year.
