Daisies, or Asteraceae, are the largest family of flowering plants on earth. They are found everywhere except Antarctica. The family has more than 22,750 species including marigolds, chrysanthemums, dahlias, and zinneas. Here is a picture of some daisies in my garden. They provide a cheerful presence wherever they appear.

In My Garden: Daisies
