Nov. 7 Incense

This girl is molding incense cylinders out of cow dung mixed with herbs, sandalwood dust, ghee, and other ingredients. The cylinders are placed on trays to dry on the sun, then packaged for sale. She and dozens of other local girls are at a guru's barn that gives refuge to cows. Income from incense sales supports their mission. We stopped here en route to Ranthambore.
