According to Wikipedia, Tokyo Tower is the tallest self-supporting steel tower in the world. Its height is 1,091 feet, compared to the Eiffel Tower which is 1,063 ft. high. Tokyo Tower was built in 1958 to transmit radio and television signals. The observatory is located in the lowest white-painted section. Views of the city are spectacular. There is a look-down window in part of the floor which is enjoyed by children and adults alike.
