The torch lily (Kniphofia uvaria), also known as red hot poker, actually exists in a variety of colors: orange, red, amber, yellow, tangerine, coral, and cream. These yellow lilies in my garden are a favorite of the hummingbirds when they are not fighting over ownership of the sugar water in the feeder nearby. Friday, July 18, 2008
